Ducks vs. Tritons Recap
Ducks Quack Their Way to Victory
Dragan Bakic had 6 points to lead the Ducks to victory over the Tritons 17-10 on Wednesday night. Even with technical difficulties, it was a fairly drama-free night of great water polo. The Tritons gave the Ducks a tough-fought battle early in the match.  Glenn Hanker who ended the night with 3 goals for the Tritons drew first blood. Other scorers for the Tritons were Thomas Dietrich (3) Joey Rossi (2) and Derek Clappis (2).
“We had moments of greatness. We definitely showed that we could click. It’s just a matter of being able to come together consistently throughout the entire game.” –Coach Matt Huiras of the Tritons.
The Ducks showed that they were the dominant team on Wednesday night with eight players scoring. Ducks center, Jacob Castro notched 3 goals, while Todd Hosmer and Ryan Dingler both scored 2 goals.  Mike Haley, David Brock, Alan Korsgaden and Sam Drake each added 1 for the Ducks.
“Our team did a great job following our game plan of not being satisfied with low percentage outside shots. We took our time to make an extra pass to the open player in the best position to score.”- Coach Dragan Bakic of the Ducks.

Vikings vs. Seahawks Recap
The Vikings came out in the first red hot, scoring on  2 of their first 3 possessions. However after another strong 2nd quarter, by Vikings, the Seahawks were able to turn the momentum, starting with strong play from starting goal keeper, Steve Barrington, who finished the match with 13 total saves. Even with 3 goals from Vikings center, Nate Varosh, and 4 from the lefty, Andrew Vierra, the Vikings could not match the offensive surge of the Seahawks. The Seahawks top scorers Tim Urrea (4) and Calvin Watt(3) lead the team to an 11-9 win, to become the only undefeated team in the VWPL after 2 weeks of games.
